Earth Day Worship

The Eco Committee led our Worship today to celebrate Earth Day and explain how it is an opportunity to highlight the importance of caring for the planet. 

They talked through the events that will be taking place this week and how children will be awarded a badge if they walk, scoot, cycle, park and stride or get the bus today and a bonus badge if they can do this all week.

Every child has been asked to bring in a recycled plastic pot so they can plant a sunflower seed over the next couple of weeks.

The Eco Committee can’t wait to see the children’s entries for our recycled art competition and choose a winner!
