Welcome to Year 2D
Your Year 2 class teacher is Miss Duffy.
We have lots of very exciting learning opportunities planned throughout the year.
Mrs Talent will be teaching Art, PSHE and RE.
Here you will be able to read and find out about all of the different things that we get up to in Year 2.
PE
Y2D PE day is a Tuesday and Friday, for Autumn 1. Your child can come to school dressed in their Beacon PE kit on a these days for PE.
Your child will need their own labelled water bottle in school each day as well.
Homework
Homework will be given in their homework books or uploaded to Seesaw each Friday. Children will need to complete this by the following Tuesday.
Reading
Reading is a very important aspect of learning not just in Year 2, but right throughout the children's school journey. We actively encourage you to read every night with your child. In order for your child to gain reading rewards you need to read with them 5/7 nights and sign and date their reading record.
