New Parents and Carers Reception Class Meeting
Everybody in the Foundation Stage Unit is really looking forward to September and the chance to get to know all of the new Reception children and their parents and carers.
On Wednesday 22nd June 2016 at 2.15pm, we would like to invite you to our school for a Coffee Afternoon. This will be an opportunity for you to meet your child’s new teachers and to talk about the different things that your child will be learning and doing with us in school. We will also provide you with some ideas about how to support your child at home.
This will also be an opportunity for you to purchase uniform, P.E and Reading bags from our Admin staff.
We would also like to invite new children into our school for some visit days. This will give the children the opportunity to get to know some of the other children and staff. We find this really supports the children to settle into our school well. These will be on the following dates and if your child is happy to stay, you don’t need to stay with them.
The visits will take places on the following dates;
Wednesday 29th June 9.00am until 10.00am.
Tuesday 5th July 9.00am until 10.00am
Tuesday 12th July 9.00am until 10.00am
Our Reception children will start on Thursday 8th September, at 8.50am. We look forward to meeting you on Wednesday 22nd June at 2.15pm
