The Beacon Cook Off!

This term our families culinary skills have been put to the test! Each week, as part of our homework challenge, the children put on their chefs hats and created some fantastic culinary masterpieces in the kitchen at home with their families. Each cooking challenge has been linked to our Inspire Curriculum, encouraging children to explore, research, experiment and taste lots of different cultural dishes!  A child from each year group was then selected and awarded with a special certificate during Collective Worship to celebrate their cooking skills and teamwork. We have been blown away with the oustanding effort from our chilldren and their familes efforts! It has been fantastic to see so many of our children developing their cooking skills and reflecting on their work, but most importantly, it has been amazing to see families spending time together cooking and having fun.
